Start your visit with the shopping street Kokusai Dori with its many traditional shops, then make a stop at Makishi Ichiba for more authentic souvenirs. Continue with Shuri Castle, one of the most iconic in the archipelago, or the magnificent Okino-gu Shrine. For a more typical visit, wander through the Tsuboya district. It is also possible to simply enjoy the long stretches of white sandy beaches and the crystal-clear sea, as the archipelago is teeming with magnificently preserved flora and fauna.

Start with a zen walk in the Arashiyama bamboo grove and the Tenryu-ji temple. Then continue to the downtown districts to stroll through Gion and see the Geishas, or visit the Nishiki market, renowned for its size and the variety of foodstuffs available. Do not leave Kyoto without seeing the magnificent Fushimi Inari Shinto shrine with its thousands of red torii gates in the forest; you can then take a walk in the southern Higashiyama area to see the famous Kiyomizu-dera temple, Maruyama-koen park, or Chion-in temple, among others. A little further north, do not miss the Nanzen-ji, a famous zen temple. You can end your visits at the Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji), a UNESCO World Heritage site, and then head to the Ninna-ji temple via Hontsuji Dori street, passing through the Ryoan-ji rock garden. With your Kansai Area Pass, it is possible to travel by train to multiple cities such as Kobe, Himeji, Nara, Wakayama, and many more!

Neighbouring Kyoto, Osaka is a must-visit place for cuisine and festivity in Japan. Considered the commercial capital of the country, you will find many covered streets called "Shotengai" that bring together street food and artisanal products. Start your visit with Osaka Castle, one of the most important in the country, which has survived conflicts and eras. If you feel like it, continue with a visit to the Osaka History Museum. Stroll through the districts of Umeda, Namba, and Shinsaibashi for shopping, then head to the streets of Dotombori in the evening to indulge in the best local specialities such as kushikatsu or takoyaki, all in a unique atmosphere surrounded by neon lights and quirky bars.

Suggestions for visits: If you wish to delve deeper into traditional Japan, visit the magnificent Sumiyoshi Shrine or the Osaka Tenmangu located right next to the Tenma Pulala market with its artisan shopping street, Tenjinbashisuji. Finally, immerse yourself in the Ghibli film atmosphere north of Osaka with Minoh. Walk along a nature path bordered by a river and Japanese maples leading to a waterfall, then finish beautifully at the Katsuo-ji temple with its thousands of daruma.

Accomodation
Check-in is generally in the mid-afternoon (3-4 pm).
Minimum occupancy per room: 1 person.
Maximum occupancy: 2 persons (2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child).
Children's age: 2 - 11 years old / infants are not allowed.

Please note: The bedding type - a double bed or two separate beds - is not guaranteed. Any specific request regarding the bedding type (double bed/separate beds) is subject to availability and may incur a supplement.
For technical reasons, hotels may be replaced with similar accommodation, and the itinerary may be rearranged.
In Japan, hotel rooms are often quite narrow, and the beds are small in size. Additionally, the accommodation included in this trip is not suitable for individuals with reduced mobility.
Some hotels offer an eco-stay option. Bedding and room cleaning are done approximately every 3 days depending on the establishments.


Meals
If due to airline schedules the first and last day are shortened due to late arrival or early departure, no refunds will be provided. Similarly, any meal included in the meal plan that cannot be enjoyed due to these schedules will not be refunded. Also, depending on the schedules of optional activities and excursions, meals that cannot be taken at the hotel are at the client's expense.


Transportation
Transfer from airport to hotel in Tokyo: The transfer is done by shared shuttle. It drops you off at your hotel and may make several stops along the way. 1 Baggage per person included; in case of additional luggage, please contact us before your departure.

Transfer by Limousine bus from city center to Tokyo airport: The Limousine bus (collective transport) connects the city center to the airport. The nearest stops to your accommodation will be communicated in your travel documents. The connection between the Limousine bus stop and your accommodation is often on foot but can also be made by metro or bus depending on the location of your hotel.

Flights Tokyo - Naha - Osaka: The flight between Tokyo and Naha lasts about 4 hours, and the flight between Naha and Osaka lasts about 3 hours. Please note that the maximum weight allowance for checked baggage is 15kg. For any additional luggage added during your booking, a supplement will be applied.

Transfer by limousine bus from Osaka airport to Kyoto city center: The limousine bus (collective transport) connects the airport to the city center. The nearest stops to your accommodation will be communicated in your travel documents. The connection between the Limousine bus stop and your accommodation is often on foot but can also be made by metro or bus depending on the location of your hotel.

Train Kyoto - Osaka: In Japan, the train is undoubtedly one of the best ways to travel quickly and easily. To travel from Kyoto to Osaka by train, it takes about 30 to 40 minutes. This journey is done through your Kansai Area Pass.

Kansai Area Pass 4 days: The Kansai Area Pass allows unlimited access for 4 days to the various JR railway trains in the Kansai region, as well as JR buses. It also gives you access for a day to certain Keihan, Hankyu, and Kyoto metro lines.

Train Osaka - Osaka Airport: The transfer to Kansai Airport (KIX) is done using your pass included in your package. In case of return from Kobe (UKB) or Itami (ITM) airports, transfers will be at your own expense. In case of early morning flight (departure before 10 am), you must travel to the airport independently using another means than your pass, as train schedules do not allow you to be at the airport at these hours. A supplement for a private transfer may be offered.

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
For safety reasons, the wellbeing facilities of most establishments are not accessible to children under 16 years old. Similarly, it is possible that some amenities or services require an additional charge or are unavailable for exceptional reasons.

Once your reservation has been made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail before your travel documents are sent.
Regarding the transport documents (in the case of a reservation with transport included), we will provide you with all the information relating to check-in and luggage in the "Your travel documents" email, allowing you to leave with peace of mind.
To take advantage of all your reserved services (hotels, transfers, activities, etc.), you will receive one or more exchange vouchers to be presented to each supplier.

Transportation

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.

You will have the opportunity to add additional luggage for a fee.
There are several different cities that are typically offered as departure points. Your arrival destination will show in your travel documents.
Depending on the flight schedule, some arrivals or returns may be made at night with early arrival or late departure. You will not always be able to have your room available immediately and will need to refer to the check-in and check-out conditions of the hotel.
In the event that your transfer is not included in your hotel reservation, it may be offered at the time of your reservation as an additional option. Unless specifically mentioned, transfers may be made in groups of 15 to 55 people.
