ENTRY FORMALITIES

On arrival, travelers must have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of return. A visa is only required for stays of over 3 months.

Non-Japanese nationals entering Japan are required to take biometric data (fingerprints and photographic portrait).

Non-French citizens or dual nationals are advised to consult the consulate or embassy of their destination country.

Minors must have their own passport. We strongly recommend that minors not accompanied by their legal guardians carry a copy of their family record book.

ACCOMMODATION:

  • Hotels listed are subject to availability. Changes may be made, but we will always try to accommodate you in hotels of a similar category.
  • Any specific request concerning the type of sleeping arrangements (double bed, separate beds) is subject to availability and may incur a supplement.
  • The accommodations included in this trip are not suitable for people with reduced mobility or babies (0 to 1.99 years).
    - Please note that in Japan, hotel rooms are often quite narrow and beds smaller than European standards.
  • Ryokan accommodation: tattooed persons are generally forbidden access to the common areas of the onsens (Japanese spas).
  • Tourist tax is not included in the quoted rate and must be paid on site.

PENSION:

  • If, due to airline schedules, the first or last day is shortened by a late arrival or early departure, no refund of meals will be made.
  • Depending on the time constraints of the excursions or transport to the destination (train, bus, transfer, ferry, etc.), meals
    that cannot be taken at the hotel are at the customer's expense.

TRANSFERS

AIRPORT-HOTEL TRANSFER BY SHARED SHUTTLE SERVICE

The shared shuttle takes you directly from the airport to your hotel and vice versa. The shuttle can make several stops along the way.

HAKONE FREE-PASS

It links Tokyo from Shinjuku station to Hakone via the Odakyu line in 2 hours. In addition to the train journey, this pass gives you free access to the Hakone Tozan buses and many of the city's tourist attractions. Take a cruise on Lake Ashi, for example, and ride the Hakone Ropeway to admire the Owakudani volcanic area. You'll also enjoy discounts at partner retailers. The pass is valid for 2 days after activation.

RAIL TRANSPORT

In Japan, the train is the most practical means of travel. Major cities and villages alike are well served, and Japan's rail network is diverse and highly functional. You can even travel on the famous Shinkansen, Japan's high-speed train, with its 320 km of track! JR Kansai Hiroshima pass Travel more flexibly with your JR Kansai Hiroshima Pass and organize your days as you please! Access the JR network's express train (Shinkansen), regional train and bus lines included in your pass, without booking in advance, to discover the cities of Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Himeji and Kobe and their surrounding areas. You can also take the ferry from the port of Miyajimaguchi (near Hiroshima) to the island of Miyajima. The pass is valid for 5 days after activation.

OSAKA AIRPORT TRANSFER BY TRAIN

For easy access to Osaka airport, take the train from Osaka station. It takes about 1h30 to reach the airport. If your stay includes a JR Pass, you'll find that the journey is directly included in your pass. Otherwise, a train ticket is provided.

Note: Transfers to Itami airport (ITM) may incur additional charges.

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
For safety reasons, the wellbeing facilities of most establishments are not accessible to children under 16 years old. Similarly, it is possible that some amenities or services require an additional charge or are unavailable for exceptional reasons.

Once your reservation has been made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail before your travel documents are sent.
Regarding the transport documents (in the case of a reservation with transport included), we will provide you with all the information relating to check-in and luggage in the "Your travel documents" email, allowing you to leave with peace of mind.

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.
You will be informed whether or not luggage is included at the time of your booking.
You will have the opportunity to add additional luggage for a fee.
There are several different cities that are typically offered as departure points. Your arrival destination will show in your travel documents.
Depending on the flight schedule, some arrivals or returns may be made at night with early arrival or late departure. You will not always be able to have your room available immediately and will need to refer to the check-in and check-out conditions of the hotel.
In the event that your transfer is not included in your hotel reservation, it may be offered at the time of your reservation as an additional option. Unless specifically mentioned, transfers may be made in groups of 15 to 55 people.
