If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Formalities

Please refer to the information below regarding the travel formalities applicable to United States nationals travelling to Albania. Travellers must verify official requirements prior to departure through the Albanian Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs https://punetejashtme.gov.al, the Albanian State Police https://asp.gov.al, and the US Department of State travel information https://travel.state.gov.

United States nationals are visa-exempt for entry into Albania for short stays for tourism, business, or private visits. They may enter Albania without a visa for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period, in accordance with current entry rules. Longer stays or extensions require specific authorisation from the competent Albanian authorities.

A valid US passport is required to enter Albania. The passport must be valid for the entire duration of the intended stay. It is recommended that the passport be in good condition and contain at least one blank page to allow for border entry and exit procedures.

Upon arrival in Albania, border authorities may request proof of onward or return travel, confirmation of accommodation for the duration of the stay, and evidence of sufficient financial means. Travellers must demonstrate that their visit is temporary and that they will leave Albania at the end of the authorised period. Travel medical insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.

There are no mandatory vaccinations required for entry into Albania for United States nationals. Travellers are advised to ensure that routine vaccinations are up to date in accordance with official health recommendations. Health requirements may change and should be checked prior to travel through official sources.

United States nationals are required to comply with all laws and regulations in force in Albania during their stay. Identity checks may be carried out at entry and within the territory, and travellers must be able to present valid identification when requested.
