DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN AMMAN
Welcome at Amman Airport
A representative will meet you at Amman Airport upon arrival, holding a sign bearing your name. They will assist you with the entry formalities, including passing through border control and customs to obtain your visa. After collecting your luggage, you will be escorted to your private driver, who will take you to your hotel in Amman for the night.
Depending on the time of arrival and traffic, the transfer usually takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
Upon arrival at the hotel, check into your room and enjoy some free time to rest or explore the city at your own pace.
DAY 2: AMMAN - THE DESERT CASTLES - AMMAN
After breakfast, depart by private vehicle for eastern Jordan to explore the famous desert castles: Qasr Kharaneh, an impressive fortress in the heart of the arid plains; Qasr Amra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exquisite frescoes; and Qasr Azraq, Lawrence of Arabia's former base. In the afternoon, return to Amman to discover the Citadel and stroll through the Old Town, with its bustling alleyways and heady oriental aromas.
DAY 3: AMMAN - JERASH - AJLOUN - AMMAN
After breakfast, head north to visit Jerash, one of the world's best-preserved Roman cities. During the tour, you will see majestic temples, theatres, colonnades and forums in an impressive historical setting. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant en route, then continue to Ajloun to discover its medieval castle, which is perched on a hilltop and offers panoramic views of the Jordan Valley. Return to Amman at the end of the day.

DAY 4: AMMAN - MADABA - MOUNT NEBO - DANA
After breakfast, depart for Madaba, which is famous for its Byzantine mosaics, including the oldest known map of the Holy Land. Next, continue to Mount Nebo, the iconic site where Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land. The journey then continues through spectacular landscapes to the village and nature reserve of Dana. Check in to your hotel at the end of the day.

DAY 5: DANA - SHOBAK - LITTLE PETRA - PETRA
After breakfast, set off on a three-hour guided hike through the Dana Reserve, learning about the local flora, fauna and traditions along the way. Then continue to Shobak Castle, a 12th-century Crusader fortress. Next, stop at Little Petra, which is a true prelude to the majestic Petra. Check in at your hotel in Petra.
DAY 6: DISCOVERING PETRA
After breakfast, spend the day discovering one of the wonders of the world: Petra. Walk through the famous Siq, a narrow canyon leading to the Treasury, and then explore the city's tombs, temples and theatres. A local guide will accompany you for two hours to reveal the fascinating history of the Nabataeans. You will then have the afternoon free to continue exploring at your own pace.
DAY 7: IMMERSION IN PETRA
After breakfast, discover Petra from a different perspective by exploring the rear of the site, which offers spectacular views of the route leading up to the Monastery, perched atop the mountains. Take your time to explore and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of this exceptional place.
DAY 8: PETRA - WADI RUM
After breakfast, set off for the legendary Wadi Rum desert, where you can explore its lunar yet colourful landscapes. Enjoy a three-hour 4x4 tour of the dunes and canyons, and discover the traditions of the Bedouin people. Then settle into a desert camp for dinner and a night under the stars.
DAY 9: WADI RUM - AQABA
After watching the sun rise over the desert, head to Aqaba, a seaside resort on the shores of the Red Sea. Explore the city, then enjoy some free time to relax on the beaches, go snorkelling, or stroll through the lively souks.
DAY 10: FREE DAY IN AQABA
Spend a day at leisure in Aqaba enjoying the Red Sea and its seabed, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. There is an opportunity to enjoy water sports or simply relax at the hotel.
DAY 11: AQABA - WADI NUMEIRA - DEAD SEA
Depart along the Rift Valley Road towards Wadi Numeira, where you can enjoy an easy hike through the impressive gorges. Then continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, and check into your seaside hotel.
DAY 12: FREE DAY BY THE DEAD SEA
Enjoy a free day dedicated to relaxation. Experience the unique sensation of floating in the Dead Sea's mineral-rich waters, or indulge in the wellness treatments offered at the hotel.
DAY 13: AMMAN - RETURN FLIGHT
Transfer to Amman airport according to your flight schedule, with assistance for departure formalities.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Arrival day and welcome: You will be welcomed and assisted by an English-speaking local representative at Queen Alia Airport. They will be waiting for you with a sign bearing the name of the local agency and will assist you before you go through border police and customs to obtain your visa. Please note that this process may be lengthy and take between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the number of travellers. You will then go down to collect your luggage. The representative may have to wait at customs to meet other travellers, but once you have collected your luggage, they will accompany you to your driver. They will then take you to your hotel in Amman for the night, sharing the transfer with other passengers. Depending on the time of arrival and traffic in Amman, the journey usually takes between 45 minutes and one hour. Your tour will begin the next morning, when you will meet your group of up to 18 people.
The order of visits may be changed for logistical reasons.

As indicated, the hotel is rated 4-star according to local standards. The services provided may not be equivalent to 4-star standards in the UK.
Tips
- Tipping is an entirely personal gesture, and the decision to tip or not, and how much, is at your discretion, depending on your satisfaction with the services received and your personal budget. That said, tips for services provided are part of the local culture and are often expected and will be greatly appreciated. We are often asked for help and guidance, so we would like to suggest the following amounts:
- Tour guides: US$3-8 per person per day.
- Driver: US$3-5 per person per day.
- Restaurants: 10% or leave the change.
- Knights in Petra: US$2-5 (we recommend that you do not ride the horses for animal welfare and safety reasons, but the boys can still expect a tip).
Visa
• The visa can be obtained on site (a simple stamp).
- We can obtain the visa for you free of charge if you send us a copy of your passport at least 10 days before departure.
- Your passport must be valid for 6 months after your departure date from Jordan.
Currency
- The currency used is the Jordanian dinar: currency exchange offices and cash machines are available almost everywhere, and your driver and/or guide can assist you with currency exchange.
