Day 1 | Arrival in Manila

Day 2 | Manila - Banaue
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for Banaue. On the way, stop off at the semi-buried church of Bacolor, a poignant testimony to the resilience shown in the face of the eruption of Mount Pinatubo. This church, partially buried under the ashes, has a unique atmosphere and an impressive view of the natural history of the region.

Day 3 | Sagada Tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure from Banaue towards Sagada. On arrival, set off on the SAGADA TOUR. Sagada is famous for its hanging coffins. This traditional way of burying the dead is still used today. Not everyone qualifies for burial in this way; among other things, you have to be married and have grandchildren.
Visit to the Bontoc museum.

Day 4 | Visit to Batad
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the village of Batad. Batad is famous for its amphitheatre-shaped rice terraces, which have been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1995. Take a jeepney to the end of the road, then walk 500m to reach the village of Batad. Take a dip in the cool, relaxing waters of the Tappiyah Falls, a magnificent natural pool.

Departure for EL NIDO TOUR A (SIC - lunch included).
El Nido is famous for its beautiful white sandy beaches and limestone rock formations. On this tour, you'll discover magnificent lagoons, beaches, and snorkelling spots where you can swim and admire the coral and the hundreds of species of colourful fish. Your first stop is Big Lagoon, followed by Shimizu Island and the magnificent Payong Payong beach. Shimizu is an island with superb limestone cliffs that provide a nesting ground for "balinsasayaw" (edible-nest swiftlets), whose nests are considered by some Asian cultures to have valuable healing properties.

Day 10 | Bohol Countryside Tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for the BOHOL COUNTRYSIDE TOUR (private - lunch included).
Head for the tarsier sanctuary, home to several specimens of the world's smallest primate. This forest spanning several hectares is the animal's natural habitat, where it lives in complete freedom. A guide will take you in search of them.
Then it's off to the Loboc River. Climb aboard your boat and enjoy this ride along the emerald green water, surrounded by dense tropical vegetation. A buffet lunch will be served on board.
After your cruise, meet your driver who will take you to the famous Chocolate Hills. On the way, you'll pass through the Artificial Bilar Forest, where a very special atmosphere reigns amidst the many mahogany trees that rise high into the sky. Upon arriving at the Chocolate Hills, climb the few steps leading up to the headland to admire the panoramic view of these unique geological formations.
On the way back to the hotel, stop off at the Baclayon church.

CUSTOMS FORMALITIES:
All travellers must present a passport valid for 6 months from the date of arrival in the Philippines and a return or onward ticket. For more information, visit the website of the Embassy of the Philippines in France (https://parispe.dfa.gov.ph/).
It is possible to travel to the Philippines without a visa. The entry stamp issued on arrival by the immigration service authorises a stay of up to 30 days.
On departure at the airport, travellers must pay a tax of 200 pesos in Manila (less in the provinces) for domestic flights and 550 pesos for international flights (unless the tax is included in the price of the ticket).
CURRENCY:
The Philippine peso is the currency of the Republic of the Philippines. Its international ISO 4217 code is PHP. As of 01.10.2024, 1 PHP corresponds to 0.016 EUR. Conversely, 1 EUR corresponds to 62 PHP.
TRANSFERS:
Airport/hotel transfer: on arrival at Manila airport, you will be met by our representative with a sign. On the last day, you will be transferred from Bohol to Manila by domestic flight. Our team will assist you with the check-in formalities for your international flight.
