Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our driver guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

The Mont Meru Hotel is an oasis of tranquillity at the gateway to Tanzania. The hotel offers a breathtaking view of Mount Meru, the second highest mountain in Tanzania after Mount Kilimanjaro.

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a short safari briefing from our professional driver guide, before driving to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. You will be driven to the second largest park in Northern Tanzania which has the world's largest elephant population. You will arrive at your lodge at sunset.

Both lodges are located on the outskirts of Karatu, halfway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. Situated close to the main road, this elegant lodge offers a breathtaking view of the valley and surrounding hills.

Immediate departure for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast. An amazing experience awaits you as you explore what is widely referred to as the world's largest animal zoo. You will go down into the crater to enjoy your picnic lunch. The crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world! Measuring approximately 20 km across, 600 metres deep and 300 km2 in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. Because of its size and diversity, the crater floor is composed of several distinct areas, ranging from forest to swamp to mountain forest. With over 30,000 resident animals, an impressive wildlife experience is guaranteed. Set off for your lodge.

Breakfast at the lodge and early departure to Lake Manyara National Park for a short photo safari. The lake covers two thirds of the park and is full of impressive biodiversity. Afterwards we'll head to Arusha for a domestic flight to Zanzibar. Arrival and welcome from our local representative at the airport.

Transfer to the White Paradise Beach Resort

Once you arrive at Zanzibar airport, head to your hotel, the four-star White Paradise Sea Resort, with round-trip airport/hotel transfers included.
Depending on the package you choose, finish your stay in total relaxation for 4 or 7 nights.

You will have breakfast at the hotel on the day of your departure, whichever meal plan you choose. You will leave your room by 10 a.m. before enjoying your transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Arrival day and welcome

Welcome and assistance by a local representative at Kilimanjaro International Airport, who will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name and will assist you before you pass through Border Police and Customs to obtain your visa. You will then collect your luggage. Your guide will then take you to your hotel.

As stated, the hotel is rated 4-star by local standards. Services may not meet European 4-star standards.

Luggage policy

Passengers should only take soft bags on safaris as vehicles have limited space for luggage. All passengers must be in possession of an identity card/passport for all domestic flights. Domestic flights are strictly limited to 15 kg of luggage per person (including hand luggage). Any excess luggage will be charged extra by the airline at check-in.
