Your detailed itinerary

Day 1 - Istanbul

After arriving in Istanbul, you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Dinner at leisure.

Day 2 - Istanbul

After breakfast, set off on a full day of sightseeing in Istanbul. First, you will visit the renovated Sultanahmet Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque. This incredibly beautiful mosque is famous for its blue Iznik tiles (from Nicaea) and is unique in having six minarets.

Lunch.

Afterwards, continue to the Hippodrome, once the vast arena at the heart of sporting events (such as chariot races and athletics) and political activities in the ancient city.

Finally, you will visit the Grand Bazaar, the largest covered market in the world, with almost 4,000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, and carpets.

Dinner at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 - Istanbul / Ankara / Cappadocia

Domestic flight: Istanbul - Ankara.

Visit the Hittite Museum and the Atatürk Mausoleum.

Discover the fascinating history of Anatolian civilisations at the Hittite Museum, a must-see attraction in Ankara. Browse unique collections of Hittite, Phrygian and Urartian artefacts displayed in a restored Ottoman bazaar.

After lunch, depart for Cappadocia.

Day 4 - Cappadocia

Have breakfast at the hotel, then visit the underground city of Özkonak in the morning. Discover its tunnels, dwellings and ingenious defence systems.

Then, visit the Citadel of Uçhisar, the highest point in Cappadocia, which offers exceptional panoramic views. Climb its rock-cut passages and learn about its unique history.

After lunch, head to the Göreme Valley and the open-air museum.

Finally, visit the Valley of the Pigeons and Avanos, which are famous for their picturesque landscapes and rock-carved pigeon lofts.

Admire the unique volcanic formations and learn about the importance of pigeons in the local culture.

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Cappadocia / Pamukkale

Depart early for Pamukkale. Along the way, visit the 13th-century Seljuk caravanserai, "Sultanhan".

Stop for lunch halfway and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis.

See the ruins of the largest necropolis in the ancient world, the Roman baths, the basilica and the Cotton Cliffs, then drive to the Pamukkale Hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 - Pamukkale / Kusadasi / Istanbul

Have breakfast.

Drive to the House of the Virgin Mary and visit the site.

After lunch, drive to Ephesus, the former capital of Roman Asia Minor.

Here, you will have the opportunity to visit the ruins of the Odeon, the Hercules Gate, Hadrian's Temple, the magnificent Library of Celsus, the Agora and the fantastic Greco-Roman theatre.

At the end of the tour, drive to Izmir Airport for your internal flight back to Istanbul.

Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be driven to your hotel.

Day 7 - Istanbul - Return

After breakfast, depart for Istanbul Airport for your flight home.

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
For safety reasons, the wellbeing facilities of most establishments are not accessible to children under 16 years old. Similarly, it is possible that some amenities or services require an additional charge or are unavailable for exceptional reasons.

Transportation

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.

There are several different cities that are typically offered as departure points. Your arrival destination will show in your travel documents.
Depending on the flight schedule, some arrivals or returns may be made at night with early arrival or late departure. You will not always be able to have your room available immediately and will need to refer to the check-in and check-out conditions of the hotel.
In the event that your transfer is not included in your hotel reservation, it may be offered at the time of your reservation as an additional option. Unless specifically mentioned, transfers may be made in groups of 15 to 55 people.
