Your detailed itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday – Flight to Istanbul
Arrival at Istanbul Airport, meet and greet, then transfer to your hotel.
Your first dinner is at leisure.
Day 2 – Sunday – Istanbul (Süleymaniye Mosque, Egyptian Bazaar and Bosphorus Cruise)
After breakfast, head to the Suleymaniye district, perched on a hill majestically overlooking the Golden Horn, to discover one of the city’s most renowned mosques, that of Suleiman the Magnificent. Built in the 16th century and covering more than 70 hectares, it is a complex comprising several buildings and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.
After lunch in a local restaurant, make your way to the Egyptian Bazaar, a place with a unique charm, full of exquisite colours and aromas. Take the opportunity to buy tea, herbs, nuts and of course local spices.
The day concludes with a cruise on the Bosphorus, the waterway linking two continents: Europe and Asia. Enjoy this trip along the water to admire the beautiful views before you and the magnificent palaces lining the Bosphorus.

Day 3 - Monday Istanbul (Blue Mosque & Topkapi Palace) – Ankara
After breakfast, set off for Istanbul’s historic heart. You will then discover the Hippodrome as well as the fascinating Blue Mosque, facing the basilica, an architectural gem famous for its six minarets and its 21,403 blue tiles.
Next, visit Topkapi Palace, one of the city’s most emblematic landmarks and former residence of the Ottoman sultans, then enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before heading to Ankara, the capital.

Day 4 - Tuesday – Ankara Cappadocia
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Museum of Civilisations in Ankara and Atatürk’s mausoleum, the father of modern Turkey.
On the way to Cappadocia, admire the famous salt lake and stop to take photos in this spectacular setting.
Next, visit a caravanserai, a former inn dating back to the days of the Silk Road.

Day 5 - Wednesday Cappadocia
After breakfast, set off to explore one of Turkey’s most beautiful regions, Cappadocia. Prepare to be amazed by the fascinating and unique landscape, shaped by volcanic lava more than 3 million years ago.
Visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to several chapels carved into volcanic rock and decorated with 13th-century frescoes. You will also discover the splendid valleys of Avcilar and Guvercinlik, famous for their countless fairy chimneys.
Next, we will visit an impressive underground city built by ancient local communities, before ending the day with a visit to a carpet and jewellery centre to learn more about Turkey’s age-old artisanal production.
In the evening, as an optional extra, you can attend a traditional night in a troglodyte setting, where you will discover local folklore and traditional dances (at an additional cost).

Day 6 – Thursday – Cappadocia / Pamukkale
Optionally, weather permitting, you can enjoy the unique experience of a hot-air balloon flight to admire the fairy chimneys and the otherworldly landscapes of this region. An exceptional, unforgettable experience!
After breakfast, depart for Pamukkale to visit the ancient city of Hierapolis and the Cotton Castle, a truly stunning natural wonder of dazzling whiteness, where the flow of hot springs saturated with calcium salts has coated the cliff. Marvel at a giant waterfall, as well as impressive stalactites and natural pools.

Day 7 – Friday – Pamukkale – Ephesus Izmir Kusadasi
After breakfast, set off for the magnificent site of Ephesus, the city of Artemis and the most famous ancient site in Türkiye. Discover the renowned Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan, the splendid theatre and the remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The day ends with a visit to a leather factory, followed by a return to the hotel and dinner.
Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 8 – Saturday – Kusadasi Izmir – Pergamon – Troy Canakkale
Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for Pergamon to discover the largest hospital in ancient history, the Asclepius Hospital. Dedicated to the god of health, this hospital was known at the time as a major centre of culture, art and medicine. The snake-shaped reliefs at its entrance inspired the symbol of modern medicine.
Continue on to Troy, a city long thought to be only a legend from Homer’s Iliad until its discovery in 1868. Visit the archaeological site of the city with its nine levels, as well as the reconstruction of the famous wooden horse.

Day 9 – Sunday – Çanakkale – Istanbul (Balat and Fener districts)
After breakfast, depart for Istanbul via the Dardanelles Strait. After lunch, arrive in Istanbul in the afternoon.
You will then have the opportunity to see the ancient walls that once encircled the city of Constantinople, as well as the Roman aqueduct. Continue on to the Jewish quarter of Balat, then the Greek quarter of Fener, and enjoy the magnificent view over the Golden Horn.
Dinner and overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 10 - Monday – Flight from Istanbul
Breakfast and transfer to Istanbul Airport, then boarding for the return flight.

Please note: The itinerary for this programme may be subject to change due to technical requirements, weather conditions or other circumstances affecting the organisation of the trip.

Guaranteed departure: minimum 2 people. The supplier reserves the right to change the departure date if this minimum is not reached.
The pace of the visits can be quite intense (see all included visits in the detailed day-by-day itinerary), which may involve very early starts in the morning.
The tour guide will be present for the entire duration of the stay.
The shared transfer is included for arrivals between 7:00 and 00:30 on the tour dates. If the client chooses an arrival or departure outside these times, they will have to pay a supplement of €85 for a private transfer. In addition, on day 2 departure is around 8:00 for the first excursion of the tour; please note that the transfer time between the airport and the hotel is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
As transfer staff are not allowed to enter the airport building, please follow carefully the instructions provided in the travel documents regarding the meeting point for transfers.
