SO/ Vienna 5*

4.5Trip advisor rating 4.5
2,981 reviews

The five-star SO/Vienna is located on the banks of the Danube Canal, in the heart of the capital city of Vienna. The design of this exceptionally comfortable and elegant hotel was entrusted to the care of architect Jean Nouvel. The result is a unique hotel. Its rooms, featuring large bay windows, are all white or all grey, while the ceilings of the lobby and the restaurant, which offers a stunning view, are adorned with stunning works of art. With its cosy bar-café and spa, this hotel is a great spot for a couple's stay in Vienna.

Rooms

Bright and cosy, the rooms wrap their occupants in a cocoon of softness. Throughout their stay, guests will enjoy a soothing stylish interior. These spaces feature high-end equipment such as a sound system.

Cosy Room [29 M2]

Jean Nouvel decided to make this 29-m² room a space in which white reigns supreme, from floor to ceiling. For the comfort of its occupants, the room offers a soft bed and a Nespresso coffee machine. Large windows look out over the north of Vienna.

So Comfy Room [38 M2]

A bright grey palette lends character to this room, which features a view of the capital city. The vast 38-m² space gives you the freedom to relax as you wish: lying on the bed, curled up in an armchair or in a relaxing bubble bath. These moments will be enhanced by refreshments from the minibar or a Nespresso coffee.

Urban Room [43 M2]

Space and elegance welcome you from the moment you cross the threshold of this 43 m² room. Filled with light, the room offers an incredible view of the city. It features two comfortable queen-size beds. Choose to relax with the gentle sensation of a fine mist shower or in a luxurious bubble bath.

Restaurants & bars

The view, the décor, the bright artwork on the ceiling and the exquisite food are among the many reasons to book a breakfast or dinner at Das Loft. The hotel's restaurant is located on the 18th floor. The café, on the other hand, welcomes customers on the first floor.

Das Loft

This restaurant will delight foodies with its contemporary cuisine. Prawn, eel, potato and veal are enhanced by vegetables, sauces and innovative recipes. The modern décor is as appealing as the menu.

BAR/terre

A cosy and welcoming contemporary refuge, this café invites you to enjoy traditional regional specialities and international creations. Enjoy a Viennese coffee or a cocktail with your eyes fixed on the Danube Canal.

Activities & lifestyle

Discover Vienna and all its charms, both old and new, from this conveniently located hotel. Between excursions, take a trip to the wellness centre.

You can relax fully in the expert hands of the spa professionals. A facial or massage will allow you to take some time for yourself. Do you enjoy sport, even during your holiday? The gym, decorated in peaceful colours, invites you for a workout. Do you prefer to run outdoors? The hotel staff will advise you on the best routes to take, especially along the Danube Canal. They will also point out some walks that will take you through the city.
