You will be met by your driver and your travel expert at the airport. After a small presentation of what awaits you during this wonderful Indonesian adventure, you'll head to your hotel. On the road, you'll get your first impression of Bali, full of the cultural diversity of the island's southern region. The small restaurants are sure to attract you with their colourful décor and their unfamiliar dishes, and you'll instantly relax once you see all the welcoming smiles that surround you.

Overnight stay in Ubud.

Your driver will take you to a small village near Mengwi where you will meet a Balinese family with whom you will spend the day. Your hosts will first show you around a local market where you will get to see and smell all sorts of exotic products. Next, you will stop off at the village school before returning to the family home. You will then be introduced to the offerings and learn a great deal about Balinese ritual practices. Then head for the kitchen, where you'll be invited to help prepare the meal and brew the coffee.

After lunch, take a stroll through the village to meet the locals, then head deep into the countryside to a small temple. You take part in a blessing ceremony before continuing on to the rice paddies. Your hosts will explain how the rice fields work and you will be invited to plant rice and try out the traditional ploughing tools.

By mid-afternoon, it's time to say goodbye to your hosts and your driver will pick you up to take you to your hotel. (Duration of activity: full day).

This morning, you will trade your ordinary vehicle for a chauffeur-driven VolksWagen convertible. These vintage convertible vehicles offer more thrilling way to discover some of Bali's more spectacular country roads. **Places visited: Taman Sari waterfall, Gunung Kawi temple, Pura Mengening temple, Tegalalang rice paddies* ** (Duration of the activity: Maximum 8 hours)

At around 3 a.m., hit the road to see the Batur Volcano. The ascent, on foot, takes between 1.5 and 2 hours. You'll arrive at the summit before the sun rises over the sea. You'll find yourself in the clouds at an altitude of over 1,700 metres at the top of the volcano. Below, Lake Batur. In the distance, spot the other volcanoes of Bali: Abang, Agung, and Batukaru on the right. Steam oozes from the walls of the crater. Walk the circumference and then begin your descent on foot. Meet your driver and get back into the car. If you have any energy left, visit Pura Batur and relax at the natural hot springs.

This morning, you will visit the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site. These rice paddies form a natural amphitheatre that provides wonderful insight into the Balinese irrigation system. The views are superb, and you can take advantage of the opportunity to walk through the rice paddies. Your driver will then take you to the village of Wongaya Gede, where you will discover the Batukaru Temple, literally meaning "coconut" in reference to the Batukaru Mountain on which it was built.

Transfer from Ubud to Padangbai pier ** Board a boat at Padangbai to travel back to Gili Air. No motorised vehicles allowed at the destination! So you'll be travelling by "horse-drawn carriage" or on foot to your accommodation. **Rest of the day is free. You can enjoy the hotel's surroundings and facilities to your heart's content.

A day of relaxation! Gili Air will enchant you with its white sand beaches as well as its diving and snorkelling spots. Explore the extraordinary sea beds, teeming with fish of all sizes and colours. A real change of scenery awaits. Swim in the turquoise waters. You may be lucky enough to come face to face with a turtle swimming peacefully. For the more adventurous, try scuba diving, where a few black tip sharks are sometimes seen. Treat yourself to a spot of sunbathing or a stroll along the seafront - it's easy to get around the island on foot or by bike (allow around 1 hour by bike and 2 hours on foot). As such, this day is all about nature and relaxation. Put the daily grind behind you and escape to this paradise island!

Overnight stay on Gili Air.

Boat trip with snorkelling. You will meet your captain and board a small wooden boat to discover the treasures of the Gili archipelago. Stop off at some of the best spots to snorkel and observe the coral reefs and colourful fish, as well as the many sea turtles that call the Gili Islands home.

Overnight stay on Gili Air.

Today, you'll meet at the port of Gili Air to travel to the neighbouring island of Nusa Penida. A private driver will meet you at the Nusa Penida Harbor and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day you have free to explore the surrounding area and take advantage of the hotel's facilities.

Overnight stay in Nusa Penida.

Today a driver will take you to the west of Nusa Penida to discover the most beautiful region of the island, but also the area that is most marked by tourism. You'll have the chance to admire some superb views, so be sure to recharge your camera battery before you set off! On the itinerary: Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong, Kelingking, Crystal Bay... You're in for a real visual treat!

Overnight stay in Nusa Penida.

This morning, you set off on a snorkelling trip to discover the incredible seabed of Nusa Penida on a private boat. If you're lucky, you may have the chance to swim with manta rays. You'll make a stop at Manta Bay before exploring the natural beauty of Crystal Bay and GT Point.** Full immersion in the Indian Ocean awaits!

Overnight stay in Nusa Penida.

Make your way to the Nusa Penida Harbor to return to the island of Bali. A private driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to explore the surrounding area and make use of the hotel's facilities.

Overnight stay in Sanur.

Today, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Denpasar airport for your flight.
