Your detailed itinerary
Day 1 | Meeting Tashkent, heritage and local life
Arrival in Tashkent and welcome by your local English-speaking guide.
Transfer and check-in at the hotel.
Sightseeing: Khazrati Imam Architectural Complex, Abu Bakr al-Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, Barak Khan Madrasa, Friday Mosque, Moyi Mubarek Madrasa (home to a 7th-century Quran), Chorsu Bazaar and Kukeldash Madrasa.
Meals are not included. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 | Immersion in Bukhara, heart of the Silk Road
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a flight to Bukhara. Check-in at the hotel.
Explore the old town: Visit the Po-i-Kalyan Ensemble, which includes the Mir-i-Arab Madrasa, the Kalon Mosque and the Kalon Minaret. Also see the domes of the money changers, hat makers and jewellers, and the Ulugh Beg and Abdulaziz Khan Madrasas.
Later, visit a blacksmith workshop and stroll through the covered market.

Day 3 | Exploration of Bukhara and its iconic monuments
Today, immerse yourself in the city and explore its many cultural treasures.
The itinerary includes: Magoki-Attori Mosque, Liabi-Khaouz Square (Kukeldash Madrasa, Khanaka and Nodir Devon Begi Caravanserai), the old Jewish Quarter and Synagogue, Samanid and Chashma Ayub Mausoleums, Bolo-Khaouz Mosque and Ark Citadel.
Dinner is not included and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 | In the footsteps of heritage and pilgrims
For this new day, excursion around Bukhara:
The Bakhuddin Naqshbandi pilgrimage site, the Sitorai Mokhi Khosa summer palace, the Tchor Minor madrasa and the Souzani House (the embroidery workshop of Mr Rakhmon Toshev).
Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 | Discover Nourata and spend the night in a yurt
Drive to Nurata via Gijduvan. Visit a pottery workshop.
Explore Nurata: Chashma Sacred Spring; ruins of Alexander the Great’s fortress; Tchil Ustun and Panjvakhta Mosques; Sheikh Abdoul Hasan Nouri Mausoleum.
Lunch with a local family.
Settle into a yurt camp, camel ride, dinner, and Kazakh songs around the fire.
Overnight in a yurt.
Day 6 | Lake Aydarkul and journey to the treasures of Samarkand
This morning, transfer and walk to Lake Aydarkul.
After lunch, drive to Samarkand (approx. 4 hours). Check in at the hotel. Dinner is not included; Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 | Discovering Samarkand, historic mosques and bazaars
Today's programme includes the following visits: Registan Square (Ulugbek, Shir-Dor and Tilla-Kari madrasahs); Bibi-Khanum Mosque; bazaar; Gur-Emir Mausoleum; Museum of Cultural History.
Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 | Exploring the cultural gems of Samarkand
Today, you will have the opportunity to discover the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, the Ulugh Beg Observatory and the Afrosiab Museum, as well as visiting a silk paper factory called 'Meros'.
Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 | Free morning and train journey to Tashkent
Morning at leisure.
Train to Tashkent, arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 | End of the Uzbek adventure
Morning transfer to Tashkent Airport (TAS) for your return flight. Tez orada ko'rishamiz!
