Carnival Experience
Take an unforgettable tour of the City of Samba (Cidade do Samba), home to the garment workshops of Rio de Janeiro's leading schools.
You'll discover the history of carnival and the entire process involved in creating chariots and costumes. You'll step inside the workshop of the Grande Rio Samba School, carnival champions in 2022, where you will be able to try on a costume and dance the Samba. At the end of the tour, you'll sample a caïpirinha, a Brazilian cocktail made with cachaça, lime and cane sugar.

A day in Rio
Departure from your hotel in the morning for a day of sightseeing to discover Rio's must-see sites.
You will start with a visit to Christ the Redeemer, the symbol of the city, which stands on a hill at an altitude of over 700 metres and overlooks Guanabara Bay. The 360° panoramic view is breathtaking, with views over a succession of bays, Copacabana beach, the favelas, and the forest. The ascent will be by van through the Tijuca Forest. Then, in the Lapa district, you will stop off at Escadaria Selarón (Selaron Staircase), which has become famous for its colourful ceramics, and visit the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Sebastián, with its extraordinary architecture. Following a lunch break, you will pass by the Sambodrome, where the parades take place during Carnival, and the very famous Maracana Stadium for a photo stop. Departure for a visit to Sugarloaf Mountain and a ride in the cable car for** a panoramic view of the city, before returning to the hotel.
