Day 1 | Arrival in Seoul
Arrival at Seoul airport. Collect your Pocket Wifi from the airport to enjoy internet access throughout your trip. Transfer to your hotel by limousine bus. Night in Seoul.
Day 2 | Free day in Seoul
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in Seoul to visit as you wish. Overnight in Seoul.
Use your T-money card pre-loaded with KRW 30,000 to get around the city more easily.
Suggested visits: If you're passionate about history and tradition, start your trip with a visit to Seoul's five great palaces: Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung and Gyeonghuigung, jewels of the Joseon dynasty which have now become major historical symbols of the city.
Treat yourself to a moment of serenity at the great Jongmyo sanctuary, before continuing your discovery in the peaceful alleyways of Bukchon Hanok Village, an iconic district where traditional houses stand side by side with craft workshops.
Next, let yourself be charmed by Insadong district, a famous traditional market where you can find all kinds of Korean handicrafts: ceramics, traditional clothes, Korean paper and other authentic objects. A stone's throw away, the Ikseon-dong district invites you to take a break in one of its many unusual cafés, tucked away in old hanoks (traditional Korean lodgings).

If you love shopping, let yourself be seduced by Myeongdong district, a genuine paradise for fans of Korean cosmetics. For a more upmarket experience, head to the chic streets of Gangnam. Don't miss the Starfield COEX shopping centre, perfect for a shopping spree. Or take a trip to the Yongsan electronics market, a small technology paradise with nearly 3,000 shops dedicated to computers, sound, images and video games.
Day 4 | Seoul - heading to Jeonju
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by train for Jeonju.
Free time and overnight in Jeonju in a Hanok.

A true cultural gem of South Korea, Jeonju blends the past and the present together in a captivating harmony. It is renowned as one of the cradles of Korean cuisine. Be sure to try bibimbap, a bowl of rice topped with a variety of ingredients, such as stir-fried vegetables, beef or kimchi.
Stop for a photo break at one of the locations in the city that was used as a film set for the Twenty-Five, Twenty-One series! Stroll through the hanok districts amidst traditional Korean houses and visit Jaman Mural Village, where you'll find numerous paintings adorning the narrow streets.
Visit the Jeonju Confucian School, founded during the Joseon dynasty, then head off to discover the Gyeonggijeon sanctuary, which holds the only portrait of the founder of the Joseon dynasty in South Korea.
Day 5 | Jeonju - heading to Suncheon
Departure by train for Suncheon. Free time and overnight in Suncheon.
Suggested sightseeing : Located in the south-east of South Korea, Suncheon is best known for its vast salt marsh, a nature reserve home to several hundred species of birds and showcasing the region's biodiversity in all seasons. Take a stroll through the immense reed field, or get a bird's eye view of the bay. The town is also home to the Suncheon National Garden, a vast botanical garden housing a multitude of plant species and themed gardens, beautifully illuminated at dusk. To reach Suncheon Bay from the garden, you can take the Skycube, a self-propelled mini-train that overlooks the marshes.
The town also has a film studio that you can visit: Suncheon Drama Filming, where several Korean dramas set in the towns and villages of the 50s and 70s were filmed. You can also get away from the city to discover the folk village of Nagan and its thatched houses.
Day 6 | Suncheon - back to Seoul
Return by train to Seoul. Free time and overnight in Seoul.
Suggested visits: The districts of Itaewon and Hongdae are perfect for experiencing the city's vibrant nightlife. With their lively cafés, bars, clubs and live music venues, not to mention karaoke, there's something for everyone. And gourmets will find it impossible to resist the Korean barbecue, where meat is grilled at the table and served with banchans — small dishes that accompany the main course. Be sure to visit the city's various night markets, including the famous Myeongdong Night Market, where you can pick up culinary delights to enjoy in the open air, making for a convivial and unforgettable evening.
Day 7 | Seoul

Suggested sightseeing: Get a bird's eye view of the city from the N Tower, an iconic monument offering an exceptional panoramic view of the city, before descending to walk along part of the majestic Seoul Wall. As for food, traditional markets such as Gwangjang Market and Namdaemun Market are a must for sampling local specialities such as bibimbap, kimchi and tteokbokki.
Day 8 | Seoul

Suggested visits: If you're looking for a more unusual Seoul, head for Seongsu, a bustling district known for its trendy cafés, local shops and revamped industrial atmosphere. Stroll along the Cheonggyecheon River, which meanders gently through the heart of the city, or discover the futuristic architecture of the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Head off to Lotte World, a huge leisure complex in the heart of Seoul, before discovering the city's tallest tower: the Lotte Tower.
Day 9 | Seoul - return flight
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by limousine bus to Seoul Airport for the return flight.

During the tour, you will be accommodated for 8 nights in the following accommodation (or similar):
- Seoul: 6 nights at the 3-star Venue G Seoul Hotel
- Jeonju: 1 night in a Hanok Gaeunchae 1 or 2 (traditional Korean house)
- Suncheon: 1 night at the Hound Hotel or Suncheon Hotel Gite

On this tour, you will be accommodated on a breakfast-included basis, except for the night in a hanok in Jeonju and the night in Suncheon.

ACCOMMODATION
As part of this offer, you will stay in standard rooms at 3-star hotels in Seoul and Busan. In Suncheon, you will stay in a 2-star equivalent hotel or motel (local standards). In Jeonju, you will stay in a Hanok (traditional Korean accommodation).
Check-in is usually in the middle of the afternoon ( 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.).
Minimum occupancy: 1 person / Maximum occupancy: 2 people (2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child).
Age of children: 2 - 11 years.
Babies are not admitted.
The accommodation included in this trip is not suitable for people with limited mobility.
Any specific request concerning the type of sleeping accommodation (double/separate beds) or any other request or special condition concerning the accommodation (e.g. single room) is subject to availability and may incur a supplement.
For technical reasons, hotels may be replaced by similar accommodation and routes may be reversed.
Please note that in South Korea, hotel rooms are often quite narrow and beds small.
In traditional Korean guesthouses (hanok), the rooms and bathrooms tend to be small. It is common for the entire bathroom to be used as a shower and for there to be no cubicles or curtains for washing. Futons can be quite thin. As the buildings are old, the partitions may be thin, so guests are asked to refrain from making too much noise.
Please note that some hotels offer an eco-stay package (bed linen and room cleaning are carried out approximately every 3 days, depending on the establishment).
If the first or last day is shortened due to late arrival or early departure caused by airline schedules, no refund will be given.
Similarly, any meals included in the package that cannot be taken due to these timetables cannot be reimbursed.
Depending on the timetable for any optional extras and excursions, customers are responsible for any meals that cannot be taken at the hotel.
TRANSPORT
A copy of your passport is required following your reservation to book rail transport in South Korea.
Limousine bus transfer Incheon airport (ICN) - city centre - Incheon airport (ICN) in Seoul: The Limousine bus (group transport) runs between the airport and the city centre. The stops closest to your accommodation will be indicated in your travel guide. The connection between the limousine bus stop and your accommodation is often made on foot, but can also be made by metro or bus depending on the location of your hotel. In Seoul, this service is subject to
- Arrival at Incheon ICN airport between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m.
- Departure from Incheon ICN airport between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Outside these times, transfers are at your own expense. A private transfer supplement may be available. If you arrive at Gimpo GMP airport, transfers will be at your own expense.
Train Seoul - Jeonju - Suncheon - Seoul: The train in South Korea is the ideal way to travel around the country. Jeonju is around 2 hours from Seoul, and Suncheon around 1 hour from Jeonju. The return journey between Suncheon and Seoul takes around 3 hours. Please note that train timetables will be provided in your travel booklet.
The T-money card: The T-money is a travel card that you can use to pay for your journeys on the metro, bus or taxi, and also to pay in certain shops. Your card will be pre-loaded with KRW 30,000 so that you can make your various journeys. You can also top up your card with cash from a top-up terminal in metro stations or supermarkets.
