Day 1 | Arrival in Siem Reap
Welcome to Siem Reap!
Discover this must-see city in north-west Cambodia, famous for the majestic Angkor Wat Complex, listed as one of the wonders of the world. Explore the authentic landscapes of the Tonlé Sap Lake or set off on an adventure to the remote temples of Beng Mealea, Phnom Kulen, and Kbal Spean.
On arrival, chauffeur-driven transfer from the airport to your hotel.

Day 2 | Siem Reap - Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom - Ta Prohm
Discover the wonders of Angkor in one exceptional day!
Explore the must-see sights of Angkor Thom, including the fascinating Bayon with the faces of Avalokitesvara, the majestic Baphuon temple, and the famous Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King. Continue with an enchanting visit to Ta Prohm, where the roots of giant trees intertwine with the ruins, before finishing in style with the splendid Angkor Wat, a masterpiece from the 12th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 | Siem Reap - Kbal Spean - Bantey Srey - Bantey Samre
Set off on an adventure to Kbal Spean and marvel at the sacred lingas, painstakingly carved in stone by hermits many centuries ago. After a pleasant walk through the forest, discover the splendid temple of Banteay Srei, also known as the "citadel of women", renowned for its delicate pink sandstone architecture.
Immerse yourself in rural life by observing the rice fields and the traditional methods used to harvest palm sugar.
On the way back, visit Sras Srang, the ancient "pool of ablutions", and the enchanting and mysterious temple of Banteay Kdei, which is overgrown with plants. A day full of discovery and wonder awaits!

There is a 1.5 km uphill trek through the forest to reach the Kbal Spean waterfall. We suggest you bring a small fan or insect repellent.
Day 4 | Siem Reap - Kampong Kleang Village
Explore the majestic Tonlé Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.
Make your way to Kompong Kleang, a picturesque village on stilts, where you will embark on a peaceful cruise on board a local boat. Sail through the village canals to the vast lake, accompanied by spectacular views. In the dry season, enjoy the privilege of a meeting with the local population before setting off to explore. This mesmerising experience immerses you in a rich and fascinating ecosystem.
Return to Siem Reap in the afternoon and enjoy free time to relax at your hotel (driver and vehicle not available).

Day 6 | Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
After breakfast, transfer to the station for a 6-hour group bus journey to Phnom Penh, passing through the provinces bordering the Tonlé Sap, the largest freshwater lake in South-East Asia. On arrival, a driver will take you to your hotel.
Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, is situated at the confluence of the Bassac, Tonlé, and Mekong rivers. It offers a unique blend of modernity, provincial charm, French colonial architecture, and Angkorian monuments.

Note: Distance from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh: 300 km - approx. 6 - 6.5 hr drive by shared bus.
Day 7 | Phnom Penh
Discover Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, where modernity and provincial charm blend with colonial architecture and Angkorian remains.
Start your day with a visit to the Royal Palace and its Silver Pagoda, then explore the Angkor National Museum and its treasures of the Khmer Kingdom. Continue with a poignant immersion in the history of the Khmer Rouge at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.
Finish with a lively stroll through the Central Market - the perfect place to discover local life and pick up some unique souvenirs. An exciting day of culture, history, and tradition awaits!

- The Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda may be closed for official ceremonies.
- Shoulders and legs should be covered in religious spaces. If you fail to do so, you will be asked to purchase an appropriate sarong.
Day 8 | Return from Phnom Penh
Breakfast and free time to relax until your transfer to Phnom Penh Airport with your driver (without guide) to catch your return flight.
Note: the room is only available until midday.

ENTRY/STAY FORMALITIES
All trips to Cambodia require insurance covering hospitalisation and repatriation costs, which cannot be covered by the embassy under any circumstances.
Passport & Visa
It is also compulsory to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
Travel to Cambodia also requires a visa.
Visas can be obtained in a number of different ways (the price of a visa may vary by a few dollars depending on the method used; bring some cash in USD as payment by bank card is not always available):

Prior to departure, at the Cambodian embassy in your country of residence;
On arrival, at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap International Airports, at dedicated immigration counters, on payment of a US$30 fee for a 1-month tourist visa (type "T").
