Day 1 | Arrival in Hanoi
Arrival in Hanoi and welcome at the airport by our driver.
Transfer to the city and then free time to rest or start exploring the city on your own.

Day 2 | Visit to Hanoi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Discover the fascinating city of Hanoi, nicknamed the "Paris of the East" for its colonial charm, wide tree-lined boulevards, and peaceful lakes. Visit iconic sites such as the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the Ancient One Pillar Pagoda, and the Tran Quoc Pagoda, perched on the Western Lake. Immerse yourself in history at the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, before strolling through the Old Quarter, known for its lively streets and traditional stalls.
End the day in style with an enchanting puppet show on the water. An unforgettable stopover in Hanoi, where authenticity and culture blend harmoniously.

Day 3 | Hanoi/Hạ Long Bay
After breakfast at the hotel, departure by group bus transfer through the Red River delta, to the majestic Ha Long Bay.
On arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed on board with a welcome drink before embarking on an unforgettable cruise. As you sail between emerald waters and limestone islets, you'll be served a delicious seafood lunch. Enjoy an excursion to discover some fascinating caves, before enjoying dinner on board.

Day 4 | Flight to Hue
Start the day with a tai chi session, combining deep breathing and gentle movements, in the peaceful setting of Ha Long Bay. Enjoy a light breakfast followed by brunch while admiring the enchanting scenery on the last leg of your cruise.
Disembarkation in the late morning, followed by a transfer by a shared bus to Hanoi, then by private car transfer to the airport for your flight to Hue. On arrival, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 5 | Visit to Hue
After breakfast at the hotel, set off to discover the Imperial Citadel, an impressive fortress dating from 1804 and a testament to Vietnam's imperial history.
Then visit Hue's typical garden houses - true havens of serenity. In the afternoon, explore the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, a masterpiece of traditional Vietnamese art, followed by the Tu Hieu pagoda, nestling peacefully nearby.
Round off the day with a stroll through the bustling Dong Ba market to browse and make a few purchases.

Day 6 | Hue - Danang - Hoi An
After a morning on your own to explore Hue at your own pace or enjoy the hotel swimming pool, you will take the road towards Hoi An with your driver.
The route takes in the spectacular Hải Vân Pass, a 21 km winding road culminating at an altitude of 500 metres, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the East Sea and the surrounding mountains. You will arrive in Hoi An at the end of the day.

Day 7 | Free day in Hoi An
Breakfast at the hotel followed by some free time.
Hoi An is a charming historic town that is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tourists can enjoy discovering the well-preserved ancient architecture of the Old Town, sampling delicious cuisine, shopping in craft shops, taking part in Vietnamese cookery classes, visiting ancient temples and pagodas, and enjoying the nearby beach. Hoi An offers a unique combination of culture, history, and relaxation.
Take advantage of your free time to explore the city at your own pace or relax on the magnificent beaches of An Bang or Cua Dai, around 5 km from the city centre.

Day 8 | Flight to Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace.
In the afternoon, transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Siem Reap.
On arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred privately to your hotel.

Day 9 | Visit to the temples of Angkor
Accompanied by your guide, you will begin your visit to the famous temple of Angkor Wat, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992.
This exceptional site is renowned for its beauty and its impressive continuous bas-relief, which recounts the story of Hindu myths. You will continue your exploration with the Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara.
The day continues with a visit to Ta Prohm, a fascinating temple overgrown with immense roots and lianas.

Day 10 | Excursion to Kbal Spean
This day will be devoted to an excursion to Kbal Spean, located to the north of Angkor. In the 11th century, hermits carved "lingas" into the riverbed, phallic symbols representing fertility. After a 45-minute walk through the forest, you'll discover this fascinating site.
You will then visit Banteay Srei, the "Citadel of Women", famous for its pink sandstone sculptures and refined architecture dedicated to Shiva.
Along the way, you'll observe the work taking place in the rice fields and learn about the harvesting of palm sugar. On the return journey, you will visit Sras Srang, the "Pool of Ablutions", and the Buddhist temples of Banteay Kdei, a picturesque site enveloped in lush vegetation.

Note: The visit to Kbal Spean involves a 1.5 km climb through the forest. It is advised that you bring a fan or insect repellent.
Day 11 | Return from Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel, then free time until your driver takes you to the airport for your return flight.
Note: The room is only available until midday.

ENTRY FORMALITIES / STAYING IN VIETNAM AND CAMBODIA
VIETNAM:
Since 15 August 2023, UK nationals have been exempt from any visa requirements for stays of up to 45 days (including days of arrival and departure), regardless of the type of passport or the purpose of the stay.
To benefit from this visa exemption, the expiry date of the UK passport must be at least six months after the end of the stay in Vietnam.
CAMBODIA:
All trips to Cambodia require insurance covering hospitalisation and repatriation costs, which cannot be covered by the embassy under any circumstances.

It is also compulsory to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
Any travel to Cambodia also requires a visa.
Visas can be obtained in a number of different ways (the price of a visa may vary by a few dollars depending on the method used; bring some cash in USD as payment by bank card is not always available):
- Prior to departure, online (e-visa): tourist visa (type "T");
- before departure, at the Cambodian embassy;
- on arrival, at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap International Airports, at dedicated immigration counters, on payment of a USD 30 fee for a 1-month tourist visa (type "T").
