Your detailed itinerary
Day 1 - Istanbul
Following our arrival in Istanbul we are met at the airport and transferred to our hotel for overnight stay.
Dinner at your leisure.
Day 2 - Istanbul
After breakfast, we will set off for a full day of sightseeing in Istanbul. We will begin with a visit to the renovated Sultanahmet Mosque, popularly known as the Blue Mosque, an incredibly beautiful mosque, famous for its blue Iznik (Nicea) tiles and unique in having six minarets.
Lunch.
We will continue to the Hippodrome, which was once the vast arena that served as the heart of sporting events (chariot races and athletics) and political activities in the ancient city.
The tour will end with a visit to the Grand Bazaar, the vast and legendary covered market, the largest souk in the world with almost 4,000 shops selling antiques, jewellery and carpets.

Day 3 - Istanbul / Ankara / Cappadocia
Domestic flight Istanbul - Ankara.
Visit to the Hittite Museum and the Atatürk Mausoleum.
The fascinating history of Anatolian civilisations at the Hittite Museum, a must-see in Ankara. Browse unique collections, including Hittite, Phrygian and Urartian artefacts, displayed in a restored former Ottoman bazaar.
The Atatürk Mausoleum, a grandiose monument dedicated to the founder of the Turkish Republic. Stroll around the majestic esplanade and explore the museum that traces his life and legacy. A place charged with emotion and symbolism, essential for understanding Turkey's modern history.
After lunch, departure for Cappadocia.

Day 4 - Cappadocia
Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Özkonak Discover its tunnels, dwellings and ingenious defence systems.
Also, discover the Citadel of Uçhisar the highest point in Cappadocia, offering exceptional panoramic views. Climb its rock-cut passages and discover its unique history.
After lunch, on to the Göreme Valley and the open-air museum.
The last visits will be to the Valley of the Pigeons and Avanos famous for its picturesque landscapes and pigeon lofts carved out of the rock.
Admire the unique volcanic formations and discover the importance of pigeons in local culture.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - Cappadocia / Pamukkale
Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way visit the 13th-century Seljuk caravanserai ‘Sultanhan’.
Lunch on the way and visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis.
The ruins of the largest necropolis cemetery in the ancient world, Roman baths, basilica and football cliffs drive to the Pamukkale Hotel.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 6 - Pamukkale / Kusadasi / Istanbul
Breakfast.
Drive to the Virgin Mary and visit the House of the Virgin Mary.
After lunch, drive to Ephesus, the Romanian capital of Asia Minor.
Visit the ruins of the Odeon, the Hercules Gate, Hadrian's Temple, the magnificent library, the Agora and the fantastic Greco-Roman theatre.
At the end of the tour, we drive to our Izmir airport for our internal flight back to Istanbul.
Upon arrival in Istanbul, we drive to our hotel in Istanbul.

Day 7 - Istanbul - Return
After breakfast departure for Istanbul airport for the flight home.
