You will be greeted by our French-speaking representative and transferred to your hotel located in the capital, San José. You will receive your travel documents, settle into your room, and spend your first night at the hotel in San José.

Breakfast is included at the hotel. At the agreed time, depart in a shared transfer to your next destination: Puerto Viejo, Limón. Nestled along the long southern Caribbean coast, the beautiful town of Puerto Viejo and its beaches are among the most relaxing and exotic in the Costa Rican Caribbean. With its warm and calm waters, this tropical paradise is ideal for laid-back travellers seeking a getaway in a picturesque seaside community. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy your free time to relax in the hotel's facilities or explore the surroundings on your own.

Breakfast is included at the hotel. At the agreed time, meet a local representative for a shared transfer to Bocas del Toro, crossing the Sixaola border that divides Costa Rica and Panama. After paying the Costa Rica exit and Panama entry taxes, you will continue to the Almirante region where you will take a boat to reach Bocas del Toro. Upon arrival, make the most of your stay in this beautiful destination.

*The Costa Rica exit taxes (£7) and Panama entry taxes (£4) are not included and must be paid in cash when crossing the border between the two countries. These amounts are indicative for the year 2024 and may change without notice.

Breakfast is included at the hotel. You will be picked up from the hotel at the agreed time. Once the passengers have their life jackets, we will begin our boat excursion directly to Dolphin Bay. The abundance of fish and crustaceans in these waters makes this bay the ideal habitat in the Bocas del Toro archipelago. We usually observe these friendly dolphins jumping, swimming, and playing in pairs and groups. Around midday, the boat heads to Coral Cay where you will have the opportunity to enjoy exquisite Panamanian Caribbean dishes (not included), offered by a panoramic restaurant by the sea. As the final destination, we sail to Zapatilla Cay to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. On these islands, you can swim, dive, and snorkel for the rest of the afternoon.

Breakfast is included at the hotel. Free day to relax, explore at your own pace, or take an optional excursion to Bocas del Toro.

Breakfast is included at the hotel. At the agreed time, set off and meet the local representative to take the transfer to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. You will continue by boat to Almirante to take the shared transfer to the Sixaola border and then continue to Puerto Viejo de Limón. Once at the hotel, enjoy your relaxation time.

Early in the morning, meet at the hotel reception for the shared transfer to the dock to reach Tortuguero. On the way, you will stop in the town of Guápiles to enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant before taking the boat to Tortuguero and navigating through the famous canals full of flora and fauna, in the heart of the rainforest. Settle into the lodge followed by lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the village of Tortuguero on the other side of the canal and the small beach in the area, which becomes the turtle nesting site.

*Between July and October, you can take an additional night excursion, at your own expense, to observe the nesting of green, leatherback, or loggerhead turtles.

*The order of activities in Tortuguero may vary depending on the hotel's operations.

Hotel: Pachira Lodge 4-star (or similar)

Prepare to explore Tortuguero National Park: a boat trip to visit the Tortuguero canals. It's a different and very enjoyable way to discover this impressive landscape. Return and breakfast at the Lodge. Later, you will visit the surroundings of the Lodge and the nature trails accompanied by the local guide to discover this very humid tropical forest, its fauna and flora. Lunch at the Lodge. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the Lodge's facilities and the activities offered on site.

Breakfast is included at the hotel. At the agreed time, you will depart and continue the journey by boat from Tortuguero, then by bus to the restaurant located in Guápiles, where you can enjoy a traditional lunch. Shared transfer to your next destination: La Fortuna de San Carlos, home to the magnificent Arenal Volcano. This region is considered by many to be one of the most spectacular in the country. Costa Rica is well known as a top adventure destination, and the La Fortuna area is famous for the best outdoor experiences you can have. Check in at the hotel and start enjoying the facilities!

Travel duration: 1.5 hours by boat and 2.5 hours by road.

Breakfast is included at the hotel. Enjoy a leisure day to explore the Arenal region, which offers numerous hiking trails, stunning waterfalls, beautiful vegetation and wildlife, and many adrenaline experiences such as zip-lining, abseiling, horseback riding, white-water rafting, and much more!

If you select the duration of 11 days/10 nights, your stay is coming to an end.

After the included breakfast at the hotel, a shared transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport will be provided for your return flight.

Please select a departure flight scheduled after 16:30 for a comfortable return and to take advantage of the included shared transfer.

If you select the duration of 13 days/12 nights, head towards Monteverde!

Breakfast is included at the hotel. At the agreed time, depart for Monteverde by crossing Lake Arenal by boat, one of the most popular options. First, you will have a short land transfer from your hotel to the Arenal Lake dam. There, you will board a boat for an enjoyable 30-minute ride across the lake. On the other side, you will take a minibus for the final journey of about 1 hour and 30 minutes to Monteverde. This place is a true paradise for nature lovers, with an incredible diversity of flora and fauna. Unique among other Costa Rican rainforests, its constant mist, resembling clouds, gives the forest its name. Monteverde harmoniously combines natural beauty and tranquillity with thrilling adventure activities, such as spectacular zip lines to soar over the treetops, magnificent hanging bridges, cultural and culinary experiences to immerse in Costa Rican traditions, night jungle walks to uncover the secrets of the forest at night, and much more!
