Start your journey in Vietnam by exploring Hanoi, the capital rich in history and culture, with its ancient temples, mystical pagodas and lively 36-street district. Then set sail for the majestic Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for an unforgettable cruise through its spectacular karst rock formations.
Continue your journey to Hoi An, a picturesque and charming town known for its ancient architecture, colourful lanterns and delicious culinary specialties. Then head to Hue, Vietnam's former imperial capital, where you can discover richly ornamented imperial palaces and tombs, testimony to the country's rich history.
End your journey in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon), a dynamic city offering a unique combination of modernity and history. Explore museums, bustling markets and Buddhist temples, or immerse yourself in Vietnam's tumultuous history with a visit to the Reunification Palace and Cu Chi Tunnels. This itinerary through Vietnam promises an unforgettable cultural, historical and culinary experience.

DAY 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Welcome to Vietnam!
Arrival at Hanoi Airport. Welcome by our English-speaking guide and private car transfer into town.
Hanoi is renowned for its thriving contemporary art scene and its French architecture, which is visible in the many colonial buildings dotted around the city. Despite its rapid development, the city has retained many of its traditional cultures and customs.
Rest of the day free (excluding guide and car services) to explore the city on your own or relax at your hotel.

DAY 2 | Free day in Hanoi
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll have a free day to explore the city on your own (excluding guide and car services).

DAY 3 | Discover Halong Bay on a cruise and enjoy an overnight stay on board
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll board the company's bus with driver only (no guide) for a cruise and overnight stay in stunning Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers some of the most beautiful scenery in Vietnam, with huge rocky islands covered in vegetation that seem to rise out of the water.
This iconic landscape is perfect for swimming and exploring the natural caves.
Seafood lunch during the cruise.
In the evening, you'll be able to see the night fishing.

DAY 4 | Head to Hoi An
On board the boat, enjoy an early morning introduction to Tai Chi while admiring the sunrise, followed by a light breakfast.
You'll sail across the bay while enjoying brunch. You'll pass several rocks and islets, caves, and fish-farming villages.
Brunch on board. Disembarkation around 11.00 a.m.
You'll take the boat company's collective bus transfer to Hanoi and then change to a private car bound for Noi Bai Airport to take the flight to Da Nang.
On arrival, transfer to the city by private car with driver and check into your hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 5 | Free day in Hoi An

- Go to the beaches of An Bang and Cưa Dai, located about 4-5 km from the city centre, or Binh Minh, located in the south of Hoi An, about 20 km away.

- Walk through the ancient Hoi An streets, whose architecture dates back to the 19th century.

DAY 6 | Free day in Hoi An

DAY 7 | Head to Hue
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure from your hotel with your driver for a private transfer to Hue.
Stop at the top of the Hải Vân Pass, a magnificent spot offering superb views over Da Nang Bay.
Arrival in Hue around midday.
The rest of the day is free to explore the city at your own pace.

DAY 8 | Free day in Hue
Breakfast at the hotel.
The day is free to explore the city at leisure. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hue is a magnificent tribute to the cultural and religious centre of the last royal dynasty in Vietnam's history, from 1802 to 1945. The royal palaces and tombs offer a fascinating insight into the luxurious and secretive world of the glorious court.

DAY 9 | Head to Ho Chi Minh
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer with your driver to Hue Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh (formerly Saigon).

DAY 10 | Free day in Ho Chi Minh
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a free day (excluding guide and transfer services) to explore the city on your own.

DAY 11 | End of your stay in Ho Chi Minh and return flight
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll enjoy a free morning. Transfer to the airport by private car with driver for your return flight according to your departure time.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh - Mui Ne
You will set off in the early morning by private car (without a guide) for the renowned seaside resort town of Phan Thiet, arriving around midday. You will then have the rest of the day to relax on the beach in Mui Ne. Ten kilometres long and dotted with coconut palms, it's the perfect place to sunbathe in paradise. Please arrange your own meals. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12 and 13 (for the 14-day package) / Days 12 to 15 (for the 16-day package): Relaxation and exploration of Mui Ne
Breakfast at the hotel. Free days to enjoy the beach. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 (for the 14-day package) / Day 16 (for the 16-day package): Return to Ho Chi Minh City for your return flight
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you will leave Mui Ne for Saigon airport (SGN) for your international departure flight. Arrange your own meals. Rooms available until noon only.

- Hoi An: 3 nights at the 4-star Hadana Boutique Resort in a double or twin room
- Hue: 2 nights at the 4-star White Lotus Hue Hotel in a double or twin room
- Ho Chi Minh: 2 nights at the 4-star Eden Saigon Hotel in a double or twin room
- For the Mui Ne extension: 3 or 5 nights at the 4-star Sunny Beach Hotel or the 4-star Muine Bay Resort in a double or twin room
Please note: If your initial accommodation is unavailable, we undertake to relocate you to an establishment of a similar standard.

During your tour, you will enjoy breakfast every day as well as the other meals mentioned in the programme, which are served in local restaurants with set menus.

Formalities:
- For people booking the "hotel-only" package (without international flights), please send us your flight details as soon as possible via the contact form located in the "Help & Contact" section at the bottom of the page, so that we can organise your transfers.
- Passport/visa: The visa exemption for British nationals is valid for stays of fewer than 45 days. Please note that this exemption cannot be extended or renewed on location. For stays longer than 45 days, you can apply for a visa online via Vietnam's national immigration portal. This "e-visa" is limited to a maximum period of 90 days with a single entry. Visitors awarded this visa should collect it from the designated counter on arrival at the airport in Vietnam. The e-visa is not renewable on location.
- Your tour programme may be subject to change to meet local requirements.

- On arrival at the airport, an English-speaking guide will greet passengers in the exit hall with a sign bearing their name.
- Round-trip airport-hotel transfers in a private chauffeur-driven vehicle.
- Transfers are in a private, air-conditioned, chauffeur-driven vehicle.
- No guide or vehicle/driver is provided on free days.
- Return transfer Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi by the boat company's collective bus without a guide.
- Domestic flights Hanoi - Danang - Hue - Ho Chi Minh in economy class including 7 kg of hand luggage and 20 kg of hold luggage
