Climbing the volcano Mount Batur

At around 4 a.m. you will set off for Mount Batur. The climb, on foot, takes between 1h30 and 2h. You will reach the summit before the first sun rays over the sea. You'll find yourself at the summit of the volcano, over 1,700 metres above sea level, flirting with the clouds. Below, Lake Batur. In the distance, Bali's other volcanoes: Abang, Agung and Batukaru on the right. Steam rises from the crater walls. You will walk around the crater and back down.
Meet up with your driver and back in the car. Should you have any remaining energy, we would recommend a visit to Pura Batur, where you can relax in the natural hot springs.

Transfer to the nearby island of Gili Air

Transfer from Ubud to Padangbai pier. You will proceed to Gili Air via a boat transfer from Padangbai. On arrival, no motorised vehicles are allowed! So it's by horse-drawn carriage or on foot that you will reach your accommodation.

A day of relaxation! Gili Air will seduce you not only with its white sandy beaches, but also with its diving and snorkelling spots. The area boasts extraordinary seabeds teeming with fish of all sizes and colours. A genuine change of scenery awaits you. Swim in the turquoise waters, surrounded by a multitude of colourful marine life.
You may even have the opportunity to observe a turtle swimming peacefully by. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, scuba diving is an excellent option, where the occasional black tip shark can be observed. You may wish to enjoy a brief period of sunbathing or a walk along the coastline. The island can be easily circumnavigated on foot or by bicycle. Please allow approximately 2 hour for the former and 1 hours for the latter.
This day is all about nature and farniente. Leave the stresses of everyday life behind and enjoy a relaxing break in this island paradise.

Meet your captain and board a small wooden boat to discover the treasures of the Gili archipelago. You'll stop off at some of the best snorkelling spots to observe corals and fishes of a thousand colours, as well as sea turtles, of which there are many around the Gili Islands.

You will board a boat at Gili Air for Padangbai. You then leave Padangbai for Sanur, in southern Bali.
