Day 1: Arrival in Olbia

On arrival at the airport, pick up your hire car and drive to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, start exploring or take advantage of your free time to relax at the beach. Overnight stay spent in the region of Olbia.

Day 2: Olbia - Costa Smeralda - Olbia

Day (including breakfast and meals) free to spend how you choose.
Take the opportunity to discover the popular Costa Smeralda! Porto Cervo, the elite capital and meeting place of the jet set, and Porto Rotondo, a prestigious seaside resort with a magnificent marina... The small village of San Pantaleo, clinging to the granite mountains, and Baia Sardinia, a wonderful place overlooking a beautiful bay with crystal clear waters. Overnight stay spent in the region of Olbia.

Day 3: Olbia - Tempio Pausania - Castelsardo - Alghero

Day (including breakfast and meals) free to spend how you choose.
Hit the road and head for the Alghero region. Before reaching Sardinia's miniature version of Barcelona, stop off in the heart of the Gallura at Tempio Pausania, built of granite marble and known for its cork production and vineyards. Next, head to the beautiful village of Castelsardo, perched high up and offering breathtaking views! Walking through the village's picturesque pedestrian streets is a real pleasure! Arrive in Alghero in the late afternoon and enjoy exploring and dining in the historic centre in the evening. Overnight stay spent in the region of Alghero.

Day 4: Alguero

Day (including breakfast and meals) free to spend how you choose.
Explore Alghero and stroll through the historic centre where Catalan influences still persist in the culture, architecture and language. The city is also famous for its artisanal coral work. Suggested visits: the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the Cathedral bell tower, Piazza Civica, the Coral Museum, the Church of St Michael and its dome, the Church of St Barbara, the Lungomare where you can enjoy the sun and the sea. From the port of Alghero, you can take a boat trip to the Neptune Caves. Overnight stay spent in the region of Alghero.

Day 5: Alguero - Orgosolo Mamoiada - Nuoro

Day (including breakfast and meals) free to spend how you choose.
Set off for Nuoro, make your way to the heart of Barbagia with a stop in the village of Orgosolo to admire the remarkable murals, often inspired by political or humanitarian causes, as well as in the village of Mamoiada famous for its carnival featuring mysterious characters hidden behind dark wooden masks. Overnight stay in the region of Nuoro.

Day 6: Nuoro and the surrounding region - Supramonte mountain range

Day (including breakfast and meals) free to spend how you choose. Spend your day exploring the Supramonte mountain range and the sea and magnificent caves near Dorgali, trying out sports activities and visiting sites, including the Tomb of the Giants of "Sa Ena' E Thomes". Overnight stay in the region of Nuoro.

Day 7: Nuoro and the surrounding region

Day (including breakfast and meals) free to spend how you choose. Free day to discover the exceptional beaches in the region as well as the famous Grotta del Bue Marino. Overnight stay in the region of Nuoro.

Day 8: Nuoro Olbia

After breakfast, return to Olbia airport, where you will drop off your hire car before flying home.

Your Accommodation

During your trip, you will be accommodated in the following 4-star hotels (local standards) or other accommodation of similar category (subject to availability):

Olbia area: 4-star DP Olbia Hotel (or similar)

**Alghero area: ** 4-star Alghero Resort Country (or similar)

Nuoro area: 4-star Nuraghe Arvu Hotel (or similar)

Your car hire

This package includes the rental of a category B car. Please contact us to inform us of the main driver's first and last name. Upgrade to a more spacious category D vehicle for 4-5 people.

After validating your reservation, we ask you to provide us with the Name/First Name of the Main Driver. Any change or modification of the main driver's name after validation will result in a modification fee (we invite you to read all the details regarding the car rental).

The rental car will be picked up at Olbia airport and returned to Olbia airport.

The car must be returned at the same time as it was picked up; any delay after 29 minutes will result in a one-day surcharge based on the official local rate applied by the rental company, to be paid on the spot.

Your rental includes:
- Insurance: terms and amount covered will be specified at the time of rental (accident, theft, liability);
- Unlimited mileage;
- Airport fees, TAX, LAF and VAT;

Assistance.

Your rental does not include:
- Fuel (gas), parking fees if applicable.
- Traffic fines (these will be paid directly by the renter)
- Baby and child seat
- GPS
- Change of name of the main driver


Very important:
Car rental rates are calculated in 24 hour increments. Therefore, if the car is returned after the pick-up time, an extra day of rental must be calculated and added to the rate, which is why the rental company will charge the official price of the extra day directly on the spot: the car must be returned at the same time as the pick-up time.


The driver must be between 25 and 70 years of age, with a driving license that is at least one year old. Drivers over 70 must pay a supplement of €40. The car must be returned with a full tank of gas. A credit card deposit (signed blank) will be required upon delivery of the car by the rental company.
The client is required to present a bank card in the name of the main driver as a guarantee. Debit cards or AMEX cards will not be accepted
You will be asked at the counter for a credit card in your name and a driver's license valid for at least 1 year. Your driver's license must be valid.

Important information for car rental:
Please provide us with the driver's name, age (minimum 25 years old), flight number, arrival time, pick-up/drop-off location.

We are not responsible for any additional insurance coverage provided by the local car rental company.

The car rental company reserves the right to refuse a driver for any reason of safety, legality or local requirements. The final decision to accept the driver's license of the main driver is at the sole discretion of the car rental company.

Good to know

Depending on your flight schedule, 1 night can be spent on board either 8 days or 9 days / 7 nights.

All excursions mentioned in the program are suggestions and are not included in the offer (unless otherwise mentioned).

We recommend that you choose an afternoon flight for your outbound flight to pick up your rental car and a day flight for your return flight to enjoy your last morning in Sardinia.

The program of your tour may be subject to modifications or changes in the order of the tour according to the imperatives on site.

Practical details

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
For safety reasons, the wellbeing facilities of most establishments are not accessible to children under 16 years old. Similarly, it is possible that some amenities or services require an additional charge or are unavailable for exceptional reasons.
Unless otherwise stated in the service description, activities and any additional services available at destination are provided in the language of the destination country and in English.
The opening times and hours of the activities, restaurants and bars are provided as an indication only and may be subject to change. Contact the reception desk in order to be informed of any changes.

Travel documents

Once your reservation has been made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail before your travel documents are sent.
Regarding the transport documents (in the case of a reservation with transport included), we will provide you with all the information relating to check-in and luggage in the "Your travel documents" email, allowing you to leave with peace of mind.
To take advantage of all your reserved services (hotels, transfers, activities, etc.), you will receive one or more exchange vouchers to be presented to each supplier.
The contact details of the establishment will be specified in these documents, to help make your arrival at your destination as straight-forward as possible.

Transportation

Choose an offer and, according to your preferences, opt for a seat in economy, business or first class.

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.
You will be informed whether or not luggage is included at the time of your booking.
You will have the opportunity to add additional luggage for a fee.
There are several different cities that are typically offered as departure points. Your arrival destination will show in your travel documents.
Depending on the flight schedule, some arrivals or returns may be made at night with early arrival or late departure. You will not always be able to have your room available immediately and will need to refer to the check-in and check-out conditions of the hotel.
In the event that your transfer is not included in your hotel reservation, it may be offered at the time of your reservation as an additional option. Unless specifically mentioned, transfers may be made in groups of 15 to 55 people.
Important: the modification or the cancellation of a booking is only possible within the limits and including the fees outlined in our general conditions of sale.
