This tour offers a fully immersive experience of the beauty of the towns along the Amalfi Coast, which are renowned for their pastel-coloured buildings that cascade down the hillsides, and their small beaches that border a magnificent aquamarine sea. During this five-day tour, which takes in Sorrento, Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and Capri, you will visit some of Italy's most iconic sites. You will also discover the country's cuisine and authentic charm.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TOUR

Sorrento is well worth a visit for its relaxed holiday atmosphere, beautiful beaches and old streets lined with grand houses. At the heart of the town lies the bustling Piazza Tasso, surrounded by narrow streets lined with shops and restaurants.

Capri, an island in the Bay of Naples, is famous for its rugged landscapes and luxury hotels and shops selling designer clothes, limoncello and handmade leather sandals. One of its most famous natural attractions is the Blue Grotto, a dark cavern where sunlight filtering through an underwater cave creates an electric blue glow on the sea.

Your detailed itinerary

Day 1 - Naples — Pompeii — Sorrento (55 km — 1 hour)

Sorrento.

On arrival at Naples Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Sorrento. En route, stop at Pompeii, where you will meet your guide for a two-hour tour of the largest excavated site ever discovered. Famous for being destroyed in 79 AD when the nearby volcano Vesuvius erupted, burying the city under at least 19 feet (6 metres) of ash and other volcanic debris, Pompeii is a must-see for any visitor to the area. This rapid burial preserved the city for centuries, until its ruins were discovered in the late 16th century. After the tour, continue to Sorrento and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 2 – Sorrento – Amalfi Coast – Sorrento (80 km – 3 hours)

After breakfast at the hotel, meet your driver in the lobby. Today, you will travel along the picturesque Amalfi Coast, exploring the coastal towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. The coast is renowned for its stunning seascape, colourful villages and narrow, steep streets. Many of the towns along the Amalfi Coast boast a rich historical heritage and important sites of historical and artistic value that are famous throughout the world. Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 3 – Sorrento: Culinary Experience

Sorrento.

After enjoying breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for a private transfer to Fattoria Terranova, where you will take part in an amazing cookery class. With the help of an Italian chef, you will pick seasonal herbs and vegetables to prepare a farm-to-table Italian menu. They will demonstrate the various steps involved in making fresh pasta and Italian sauces. Afterwards, you will be taken back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Sorrento.

Day 4 – Sorrento — Capri (30 minutes by ferry)

Capri.

After breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby and travel to the Sorrento ferry terminal, where you will board the ferry to Capri. A driver will meet you upon arrival in Capri and take you to the hotel. You have the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay in Capri.

Day 5 - Capri

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a walking tour of Capri, an island synonymous with beauty. The island comprises three main areas: Marina Grande, Capri and Anacapri. Today, your guide will show you the island's highlights as you stroll through narrow streets lined with Italian shops and enjoy the sea views. Overnight stay in Capri.

Day 6 - Capri

Capri.

Have breakfast at the hotel, then spend the morning at leisure. In the evening, you will go on a half-day private boat trip to admire the magnificent sunset, which is renowned as one of the most beautiful thanks to the crystal-clear sea surrounding this wonderful region. Overnight stay in Capri.

Day 7 – Departure from Capri — Naples (1 hr by ferry)

Naples.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the ferry terminal, where you will board the ferry to Naples. A private car will then take you from the Naples ferry terminal to Naples Airport.

Lightweight, comfortable clothing is best suited for travelling in Italy. Visitors should not wear sleeveless tops, shorts, short skirts or tight-fitting clothing when visiting religious or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and insect repellent may be very useful during your stay.

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. There are several different cities that are typically offered as departure points. Your arrival destination will show in your travel documents.
Depending on the flight schedule, some arrivals or returns may be made at night with early arrival or late departure. You will not always be able to have your room available immediately and will need to refer to the check-in and check-out conditions of the hotel.

Regarding access to Venice, in accordance with the regulations issued by the local Venetian authorities, from April 3 to July 26, 2026, entry to the city is subject to an Access Fee unless the visitor qualifies for an exemption. The Access Fee applies from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. To benefit from an exemption, prior registration and the issuance of a voucher with a QR code are mandatory. Travelers staying in accommodation located within the city of Venice and paying the local tourist tax are exempt from the Access Fee; however, they must still obtain a QR code indicating their stay. Travelers under 14 years of age are exempt from payment and must simply be able to prove their age with an identification document.

Steps to obtain the QR code:
Go to the official website https://cda.ve.it/en/ (https://cda.ve.it/en/) and select “Request an exemption”.
Choose “I am a guest in an accommodation facility in Venice” and click on “Request exemption”.
Enter your arrival and departure dates.
Fill in the accommodation number XXXXXX and select option YYYYY corresponding to your status as a guest of the establishment.
Add the names of other travelers under the “Add holder” section.
You will receive your QR code electronically and should keep a digital copy. If requested, it must be presented to authorized personnel at the main access points to the city.
