Day 1 – Arrival in Rome
Rome.
On arrival at Rome airport, meet the driver and take a private transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the City of Seven Hills at leisure. A harmonious blend of ancient and modern, Rome has something for everyone, whether you are looking for historical facts and landmarks or simply want to go shopping in Campo de’ Fiori or along Via Veneto. Do not forget to head to a good restaurant to round off the first day with a plate of fresh Italian pasta. Overnight in Rome.
Day 2 - Rome
Rome.
Enjoy the first Roman breakfast at the hotel. Then meet the private local guide at the hotel to discover Rome’s unique beauty. The city is perfect to explore on foot, and this tour will take you to some of its most famous sights in the very heart of the city. Highlights of the tour will include the Spanish Steps and the magnificent Trevi Fountain, where you may like to toss a coin over your shoulder to ensure a return to the Eternal City. You will visit Piazza Navona, with its beautiful Baroque fountains and imposing palazzi. You will also visit one of the most impressive Roman structures still standing today, the Pantheon, which was completed by Emperor Hadrian around AD 126. There will also be some free time during the tour to stop for a coffee or try an ice cream. Overnight in Rome.
Day 3 – Rome – Pompeii – Sorrento (1 hr 30 by train, included)
Sorrento.
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the driver in the lobby to head to Rome’s Termini station. Aboard a high-speed train, you will arrive in Naples, in southern Italy. On arrival in Naples, a driver will be waiting for you. Before reaching Sorrento, you will stop in Pompeii for a scheduled private tour. This ancient Roman city was destroyed during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, which buried the entire city and preserved it beneath a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1,700 years. At the end of the tour, transfer to Sorrento and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Sorrento.
Day 4 – Sorrento
Sorrento.
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the driver in the lobby for a private transfer to Fattoria Terranova, where you will take part in an unforgettable cookery class. You will pick seasonal herbs and vegetables to prepare an Italian farm-to-table menu with the help of the Italian chef, who will guide you in creating the finest dishes. The chef will explain the different stages involved in preparing fresh pasta and Italian sauces. Aprons and hats will be provided. After the cookery class, the private transfer will take you back to the hotel. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 5 – Sorrento
Sorrento.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend a free day in Sorrento. Overnight stay in Sorrento.
Day 6 – Sorrento — Capri (30 minutes by ferry)
Capri.
After breakfast, meet the driver in the lobby to head to Sorrento’s pier, where you will take the ferry to Capri. On arrival in Capri, a driver will take you to the hotel and the transfer will be provided. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Capri.
Day 8 – Departure from Capri — Naples (1 hr by ferry)
Naples.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the pier, where you will board the ferry to Naples. On arrival at Naples pier, a private car will take you to Naples Airport.

During the tour, you will stay in 4-star hotels (or similar) on a bed and breakfast basis:
