Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel located in Arusha.

Dinner is at your leisure, overnight at the hotel.

Spend the day soaking up the local flora and fauna on several game drives. After breakfast at the hotel, set off with your professional driver guide on a short safari, before heading to Tarangire National Park for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a photo safari around the park before returning to the lodge at sunset.

After breakfast at the lodge, take the road to the Serengeti. You will arrive in a landscape characterised by savannah, hills, escarpments and marshes, which is typical of East Africa. Here, you can admire a high concentration of animals and take some magnificent photos before sunset.

On the fourth day, enjoy a full-day safari in Serengeti National Park and immerse yourself in the country's extraordinary natural beauty.

After breakfast at the campsite, set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival, you will descend into the crater for a half-day photo safari. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area's crown jewel is the crater itself, which is the largest unflooded and untouched caldera in the world. Measuring some 20 km across, 600 metres deep and covering 300 square kilometres, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder.

Rise early and head to Lake Manyara National Park for a photo safari. Then drive to Arusha in time for your 3:00 p.m. domestic flight, arriving in Zanzibar at 4:00 p.m. for your beach trip extension.

Day of arrival and welcome

A local representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and assist you before you pass through border police and customs to obtain your visa. They will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. You can then collect your luggage. Your guide will then accompany you to your hotel.

As indicated, the hotel is rated 5-star by local standards. The services provided may not be equivalent to European 5-star standards.

Luggage policy

Passengers should only take soft bags on safaris as vehicles have limited space for luggage. All passengers must have an identity card/passport for all domestic flights. Luggage on domestic flights is strictly limited to 20kg per person (including hand luggage). Any excess will be charged by the airline at check-in.

Vaccination

Passengers who have travelled through a yellow fever endemic area must present a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate on arrival.
