If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
For safety reasons, the wellbeing facilities of most establishments are not accessible to children under 16 years old. Similarly, it is possible that some amenities or services require an additional charge or are unavailable for exceptional reasons.

Once your reservation has been made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail before your travel documents are sent.

Formalities

Canadian passport holders travelling to India for tourism purposes must hold a Canadian passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in India and containing at least two consecutive blank pages. Passports must be in good condition, as damaged passports may result in refusal of entry.

Canadian citizens are required to obtain a visa prior to travelling to India. For tourism purposes, an electronic Tourist Visa (e-Tourist Visa) is generally required and must be obtained before departure. Applications must be submitted online through the official Government of India portal: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in). The e-Tourist Visa allows short-term tourist stays, with the maximum permitted length of stay determined by the specific visa category issued, commonly up to 30, 90, or 180 days, in accordance with current regulations. The exact authorized stay is indicated on the visa and enforced by Indian immigration authorities upon arrival.

Upon arrival in India, travelers must be able to present a valid visa, proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of accommodation arrangements for part or all of the stay. Immigration authorities may also request proof of sufficient financial means. Identity checks and detailed inspections are common, and entry may be denied if admission requirements are not fully met.

No vaccinations are mandatory for travelers arriving directly from Canada. However, a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travelers over nine months of age arriving from, or transiting for more than 12 hours through, countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission.
