The currency is the Jordanian dinar (JD). In mid-2022, 1 JD was worth around €1.30 and €1 was equivalent to 0.75 JD.

Weather

Spring begins in March and ends at the end of May, which is the high season. Summer temperatures can nevertheless reach 45 or 50 degrees. The best times to visit are September to November and March to May.

In Jordan, the official language is Arabic, with English as a second language.
