Your detailed itinerary

Day 1 | Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha (55 km / 1h30)

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our driver-guide and transferred to the hotel located in Arusha.

Overnight at the Mont Meru Hotel with breakfast included.

The Mont Meru Hotel is an oasis of tranquillity at the gateway to Tanzania. The establishment offers stunning views of Mount Meru, the second highest mountain in Tanzania, after Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2 | Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a short safari briefing from our professional driver-guide, then head towards Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. Photo safari around the park during the day and return to the lodge at sunset. Settle into the lodge.

Dinner and overnight stay at Tarangire Simba Lodge with a full board offer.

Day 3 | Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the lodge followed by a journey to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. The park's name comes from the Maasai and means "endless plains." Arrival in landscapes of savannah, hills, escarpments, and marshes, characteristic of East Africa. High concentration of wildlife. Photo safari in the late afternoon until sunset. Check-in at the lodge.

Dinner and overnight stay at Wild Serengeti Camp (located in the centre of the park) with a full board offer.

Day 4 | Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, set off for a full day safari in the Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. At the end of the day, return to the camp at sunset.

Day 5 | Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

Breakfast at the camp and departure towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrival and descent into the crater for a half-day photo safari (Maximum 6 hours allowed). Picnic lunch. The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep volcanic crater, the largest and most intact caldera in the world. Approximately 20 km across, 600 metres deep, and 300 km² in area. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. At the end of the day, head to Karatu and check in at the lodge.

Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge with a full board offer.

Day 6 | Karatu – Lake Manyara - Arusha - Zanzibar

Early breakfast at the lodge and departure with a picnic lunch towards Lake Manyara National Park for a short morning safari en route. The park covers an area of 325 km², with approximately 230 km² of lake surface. Travel to Arusha to catch the internal flight departing at 15:00 for an expected arrival at 16:00 in Zanzibar. Arrival and reception by our local representative at the airport.

Transfer to the White Paradise Zanzibar hotel.

Days 7 to 11 | Beach extension - White Paradise Zanzibar 4*

Enjoy a free stay at White Paradise Zanzibar for 5 nights. Take advantage of the hotel's facilities and amenities to relax. You will be accommodated in an Ebony garden view room with an all-inclusive package.

On your departure day, day 11, you will have breakfast at the hotel. Then, you must vacate your room by 10:00 AM. Afterwards, transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Arrival day and welcome

Welcome and assistance by a local representative at Kilimanjaro International Airport, who will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name and will assist you before you go through border control and customs to obtain your visa. You will then collect your luggage. Your guide will then take you to your hotel.

As indicated, the hotel is rated 4* according to local standards. The services provided may not be equivalent to 4* standards in the US.

Baggage policy

Passengers should only bring soft bags on safaris as vehicles have limited luggage space. All passengers must have an ID card/passport for all domestic flights. Baggage on domestic flights is strictly limited to 20 kg per person (including carry-on baggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.

Vaccination

Passengers who have transited through a yellow fever endemic area must present a valid vaccination certificate upon arrival.

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
